Then why 4 stars and not 5? Well, there are some rough spots. Shipping would have been fast had it not been for issues with DHL. There are installation instructions but they are very rudimentary. There is an installation video but it is not detailed enough. You Tube is your friend here and searching for dash or air vent removal in a general sense will help you get started. Basically everything that you unplug will be re-plugged by the supplied harness. Ours was a 2008 Audi A6 and it took two days. There are no instructions on operation of the actual unit but if you are already familiar with Android Auto that should not be much of a barrier and a visit through the settings menu is fairly intuitive. One day after installation we went on a week long road trip. As this was a significant technology upgrade for the Audi the Android Auto was a WONDERFUL addition. The unit performed flawlessly and we LOVED having the additional features in the vehicle! It was a lot of work up front but well worth it and everything about the unit is working well. The other thing that was impressive was the responses from Carputech when I had questions. They were very responsive to the emails and very helpful. Thank-you you Jessy for a great experience.
