- Carputech’s returns and warranty policy only available for products that purchased on Carputech official websites, including Carputech.com.
- We are not responsible for products sold by an eBay reseller, Amazon reseller or your local reseller. The warranty of these products will depend on the policy of the resellers themselves.
- Please note that if you choose expedited shipping and we have already shipped your order, we are unable to refund the expedited shipping fee.
Warranty Policy
- We offer 2-year warranty for all Carputech Carplay Modules and Android car screens, 1-year warranty for other products. Free gifts do not come with a warranty.
- All refurbished products come with a 1-year warranty. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for non-defective products.
- Warranty time starts from the day you receive the parcel.
- Carputech will still provide permanent technical support and operation suggestion for those products that have exceeded the warranty period.

Return for product issue

1) Return for exchange: Customers need to send the product back as requested. After receiving the returned package, we’ll test the product first. Then we’ll send you a brand new unit. We’re responsible for the resend shipping fee.
2) Return for refund: Customers need to send the product back as requested. Please make sure that the returned package is in its original condition, which contains all original items, including products, parts, instructions, and certificates. And to ensure that the packaging is not damaged during transportation. So that we can refund to you.

Customers need to send the product back as requested. After receiving the returned package, we'll test the product and provide you with the best solution. If repairs are necessary, we'll provide free replacement parts. If our technicians confirm that issues are unfixable with replacement parts, we'll offer you a corresponding discount to purchase a new car stereo based on the purchase date.
*Please note that the warranty period for the replacement or special trade-in unit starts from the date of your original order.
Kind reminder: Please rest assured that we’re here to help when product issues occur. Customers need to cooperate with us on checking the products, such as updating the device, providing the car model and model year, pictures of the car dash and factory car radio plug, etc. Refusal to cooperate may affect your warranty. 1) Return for exchange
Installed: If you have installed it, then return for exchange is not supported for we could not sell it as brand new anymore.
Not installed: Customers need to send the product back as requested, and pay the price difference of other new version product. We’re not responsible for the return & resend shipping fee.
2) Return for refund
Installed: If you have installed it, then return for refund is not supported.
Not installed: If for any reason the customer decides that the item is no longer needed (not the seller's fault). Your refund will be reduced by a restocking charge equal to 19% of the total purchase cost. Customers need to send the product back as requested. We will arrange a refund to you after deducting the original shipping charges and the depreciation expense.
Kind reminder: Products must be returned in their original condition. We reserve the right to refuse the returned items if you have opened and installed them or they are not in a resalable condition when returned.

Carputech allows cancellations before your product is shipped out or manufactured. Once the order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Cancellation is not allowed after your package has been shipped.

After we receive and inspect the returned items, we’ll email you regarding the receipts within 48 hours and you’ll be asked to approve or reject the refund. Once it’s approved, your return will be processed. You will receive the refund in the original payment method within 3 business days (depending on your bank's processing speeds).

If you haven't received your refund, please check your bank account first. Or you can contact your credit card company as it may take some days for your bank to process the refund. If you've done all these things and you still haven't received your refund, please contact us at support@Carputech.com. We’ll help you further.
Additions
- Please check the parcel before signing. If the product is damaged in transit or wrong package is received, please do not use it and make a note on the carrier's delivery bill and product sku, take photos as evidence and contact us within 5 days.
- Please check all items in the package after receiving it. If there is a shortage of accessories, please contact us within 30 days.
- Please contact us before returning the item. We’ll provide the necessary information for you to return the item. If customers don’t contact us before returning the product, we reserve the right to reject the parcel and send it back to you at your cost.
- If you find the product faulty after installing it, please do not remove it. Take a video or photos as evidence first and then contact us within 5 days.
- We’re not responsible for the cost of installation, uninstallation and tax. Products shipped from UK and US warehouse do not need to pay tax.
- We suggest customers to seek professional assistance before installation. We are not responsible for product defects caused by improper installation and use.
- We are not responsible for the head unit which has already been installed on a used car before you purchased. But we will provide free technical support as much as we can.
