I recently installed a Carputech 10.25-inch CarPlay screen in my 2016 Lexus IS 300h, and I’m extremely happy with the product. The screen looks great, the quality is impressive, and it’s a fantastic upgrade that brings modern connectivity to my Lexus.
What really makes Carputech stand out, though, is their exceptional customer support. Their team is always attentive, patient, responsive, and genuinely willing to help. They take the time to understand your questions and concerns and work with you to find solutions. Throughout my experience, they’ve been incredibly supportive and have gone out of their way to make sure everything works as it should.
It’s refreshing to deal with a company that doesn’t just sell you a product and leave you to figure things out yourself. You can genuinely feel that they care about their customers and their overall experience.
Thank you, Carputech team, for the fantastic product and outstanding support. Keep up the great work! 👏
I did have trouble getting my oem backup camera to work smoothly during my first install but I notice I plugged in the aftermarket camera wire which is why it did not work at first. This is the best aftermarket screen for the 10th gen Accord, other options don’t compare to what this screen has to offer. I can watch movies, surf the web, adjust the speaker output and amp from this screen and swap back to the original oem Honda display. 10 out 10 for anyone with 10th gen Accord with the factory 8 inch display. HUD for Touring owners still works but you would have to swap and use the oem Honda display system from the aftermarket screen for the navigation on HUD to work. Personally I am fine without the navigation in my HUD.
I love my purchase of the carputech. My 2012 Lexus rx 350 looks more modern and the controls remained.
Great product.
High visual quality 👌
Everything works great 👍
I commend their customer service for swift response and working around to meet my need and request.
This aftermarket head unit completely modernized my 2015's interior tech. The interface is clean and fast — a huge upgrade from the factory system. Apple CarPlay works smoothly for maps, calls, and music, making drives so much easier. The upgraded backup camera is sharper with a wider view and adjustable guidelines, making parking way less stressful. Best of all, it keeps all the original car functions intact — steering wheel controls and climate settings still work perfectly.
Need some work to set up Zlink app for use of Apply CarPlay and reverse backup camera adjustable lines on-screen.
Customer support is great ! Love the radio makes my 2017 Q70 look like a 2020 car !
I had an Android based system for about 6 years. It was giving me a few issues, and it was always a clunky to navigate. The new Linux based system was not only easy to install, its very easy to use; and completely wireless with Bluetooth.
Taking out the old android and swapping with this took be about 90 mins including clean up, etc. A straight factory swap will be even faster.
Also, the customer support from Caputech is really incredible. I received an email from their team to validate compatabilty before shipping. Any questions I raised, they had an answer in under 1 day. Really amazing support!
I ordered a CarPlay module for my car and had it installed separately. It works like magic.
Thank YOU 😊
User Tip: You need to attach your phone cable (with adapter) to new usb that comes with module’
The stereo fits perfect
We purchased the 12.3-inch Linux System for our 2014 BMW X3, and Carputech immediately got in touch with us to confirm the details of our vehicle to make sure we were purchasing the correct system (we were, but I appreciated them checking). It arrived very well-packaged and in perfect condition.
My only complaint is the included instructions, they are very vague and the photos had such high contrast it was impossible to make out any details. Fortunately, YouTube has you covered. I highly recommend the installation video by Professor's Garage, and he had a $30 discount code on his video as well - and it worked! No splicing was necessary and the installation went very well. The screen looks great with very high resolution and a premium appearance; it looks like it came with the vehicle from the factory. We are familiar with Android Auto from our other vehicle so no surprises there, it works great as it should. What really impressed me is how well their unit works with the original BMW software system, and how simple it is to switch from one to the other. All the original BMW functionality is there, including steering wheel controls - which you can customize in the Carputech settings. I can access voice commands and navigation from the steering wheel, and the Carputech voice assistant works great and functions seamlessly with apps you want to control. Sound quality is great and the system works perfectly.
I highly recommend Carputech!
I never particularly cared for the factory infotainment screen in my benz. Ugly, small monochrome display that could only be operated with steering and know buttons. Outdated factory navigation and only one option at a time. This new Linux screen seamlessly pairs with my phone and enabled multiple split touch screen options. Screen boots up in seconds, high resolution color and eliminated the ugly large AC vents(new sleek vents with clock were provided) Users also have the option of mirroring their phones for those "apps". It was easy to install. Took me less than 2 hours due to the fact that I was nervous. The factory back up camera and all factory switches and knobs still work as intended. I should have done this years ago.
Easy install, plug and play. Works great and has good audio and video output. with the mouse pad it is a little finicky and needs getting used to but overall good buy. This unit is a half screen set up, not full screen for the 2013 model. The pictures make it seem like you are buying the full screen set up… kinda misleading
Auto bluetooth connection on power-up, no manual work every time.
The goods were received quickly. the seller is patient and enthusiasm. without damage in the whole process. the screen effect is very good , thanks the seller.
Non-destructive installation, instantly elevates the car's interior style, runs smoothly without lag, bluetooth call quality is clear, the installation effect completely exceeded my expectations, it's a great product, i love it!!!
